I made sure to configure my IDE so that it can recognize my Arduino Pro Micro, and I went ahead and ran a program. After doing that, whether or not the Arduino is plugged in, the COM4 port appears in my Device Manager with the name "SparkFun Pro Micro (COM4)". I then configured the COM4 port (the one being used by my Arduino) to use the drivers. I downloaded the drivers for my Arduino Pro Micro from the SparkFun page about it. I am using an Arduino Pro Micro for the first time and I am having trouble with Windows 10 not recognizing it. ![]()
